review 1: DNF. Not even book 1. Couldn't do it. Horrid. I get the Neanderthal mentality of the males. They are old fashion vampires so females are owned. So they are used and abused. What I can't wrap my head around is vampires having kids. The only way is with a druid. So it made no sense to me that something so rare is treated so badly. I expected worship or even kindness. The writing style to me kind off reminded me of the cartoons. Mindless waffle. Just crap to fill the pages with no real dialogue.
review 2: Well, this was just okay for me. It felt rushed and there was a couple of errors in the story (like a rogues eyes being black/red in one book, then in third book they are silver like the reapers). Everything was just ehh, but it was a quick read. It also became v
... moreery repetitive and it seemed like each book the vamps all of a sudden had another power (flying, one true mate, etc.). Not horrible, but not good either. I won't be continuing with the series. less
