review 1: It was a typical Siren m/m story, short, simple, abundant sex, macho guy with girly guy, fated mate tale. I like these stories for quick reads so no worries there. It wasn't anything special and a nice change that it's a standalone and not the start of a series which I would then feel compelled to read on with until it was all too blurry to be enjoyable. A weird quibble that popped into my head midway while reading was that if shifters are integrated members of society how they get away with kidnappings, killings, forced matings etc, but I dismissed it immediately as irrelevent to what this is - a fast sexy read.
review 2: Right off I will say that this isn't the best of books. The writing was predictable and some of the situations just funny. I can't say tha... moret it is even a good book but I still enjoyed it. If you like goofy reads and don't care much on realism this is a good pick. Really it doesn't deserve 3 stars but I had a good time reading it and since it made me happy I gave it 3, after all it is my opinion;) less
