review 1: Justin is traveling to rocky creek Texas and along the way finds a marshall that has been shot and handcuff to Sarah. The marshall is taking Sarah to the same town. She helps him get the bullet out of the sheriff and then runaway but Justin finds her later and they join up again. The marshall then dies and Justin and Sarah continue on together. They later come upon a family attacked by Indians and become Godparents to a infant. They finally make it to rocky creek and to find out what happens next , need to read the book.

Can this preacher from Boston save the feisty girl from losing her life because of her brother's outlaw ways? Justin and Sarah journey from Missouri to Texas burying the dead along the way, saving an orphan baby named Elizabeth, encountering the Prescott brothers, learning that love is unconditional, and God will provide. Couldn't set the book down. Had to find out what Sarah would do, choose escaping town with her brothers or putting faith in God, staying in town and possibly losing her life. less
