Celebrations and a Giveaway

Today I wanted to announce a giveaway that I’m running over on my Twitter. I’ve been meaning to do a giveaway for ages, as I haven’t hosted one since April, and there’s been a lot to celebrate!

I decided to wait until after YALC to do this so I could pick up a bunch of cool sampler, but I left it a little while because there are normally a lot of giveaways after YALC. Personally I’d rather have giveaways spread out rather than lots in one go, so I knew I wanted to wait.

However, this isn’t just a YALC giveaway. On the 22nd of June this year, I celebrated my blogoversary, with one year since my first post and blog creation. When I started out, I was rather nervous to create a blog and didn’t know if I’d stick at it, so it was so lovely to know I’ve made it to a year.

I also hit 200 blog followers in July, which was exciting! Seeing as it took me eight months to get to 100, I was chuffed to gain another 100 in only five more months. Definitely another thing worth celebrating!

And there have also been some slightly less momentous milestones that I’d still like to mention. A couple of weeks back, I reached 800 followers on Twitter (haha not quite worth waiting to hit 1000 to announce this giveaway), and I’m coming up to 200 blog posts on this blog – in fact, if you include scheduled posts, I only need to write about five more to reach that number. So I’m rather happy about these two facts as well!

Anyway, now that I’ve given you the full run-down of all my celebrations, it’s time to actually share what’s in the giveaway.

In this little giveaway parcel are a book and two proofs. These are: Tell It to the Moon by Siobhan Curham (finished copy), Bone Gap by Laura Ruby (proof), and Show Stopper by Hayley Barker (proof).

I’ve also decided to include a bunch of swag and samplers from YALC (hence this is partially a celebratory YALC giveaway), which includes samplers for Clean by Juno Dawson, The Surface Breaks by Louise O’Neill, Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury, Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart, and It Only Happens in the Movies by Holly Bourne.

I guess all that’s left to say now is thank you and good luck!
