review 1: I received a copy of this book from the publisher and the author in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.Kylie Andrews is a woman who owns her own business. Cole Grayson is a man who’s full of what ifs. Then as you see things unfold, you start to realize that you’re reading a novella because the ending is getting closer and closer. It’s a story that makes you wonder what would happen if you were in Kylie’s shoes. Then there’s your celebrity crush – will you have them make an appearance?Our author gives the reader just enough sex so that they can use their imagination should they so choose. I liked the ending but it left me wishing I had listened to some country music at the time. The good news is that I can read this novella again and... more pick out some of my favorite artists to listen to. I couldn’t say I loved it because I wanted one more chapter. But again, imagination is a wonderful thing. I hope that if you loved this book, you will check out more of Margo’s work.
review 2: Country star Cole Grayson is playing a show in the hometown of the woman he loved and lost a year ago in Mexico. He will do whatever it takes to track her down and convince her to give him another chance. Kylie Andrews is less than thrilled to be accompanying her best friend to the Cole Grayson concert tonight. After he lied to her, Cole Grayson is the last person she wants to see. But in a crowded concert and safe behind the bright lights, what's there to worry about? When Cole keeps chasing after her is Kylie willing to put it all on the line to be with the country sensation?The Good: It was an ok story. It's less novel and more novella. Fast read, entertaining. I liked Cole's character more than Kylie's.The Bad: They should have changed the title to something else. That country star needed no taming. He was whipped from the beginning. It was a nice story just kind of bland and unmemorable. Final Notes: While it's a short read, and a pleasantly nice one it's not going to be my first recommendation. But if you want a easy of the dirt romance novella then its a good pick. Not the worse book I've ever read, just not that memorable. less
