Here is it again the #30DayChallenge that I am currently into these days
I am one heck of a reader. I LOVE reading so much. From books, blogs, forums, all sorts of sources. It relaxes my mind from the busy working-mum life. So when I saw that this was the 3rd day challenge, I thought this is going to be easy. But NO. Unfortunately.
I was suppose to write on this yesterday, but I got really confused on which one. I’ve ready too many books and I like them all, TBH. So I had to think which one has left the most thrill on me. And that would be DECEPTION POINT by DAN BROWN.
I got this book from a sale from a store. I bought it as it was reaaalllyyy cheap at that time, and I saw how thick it was. I just thought it’s a good buy for my money. I think I had it at around the year 2009.
I know most people would say Dan Brown’s books are too mainstream. But I do love his books (ie The Da Vinci Code, Angel and Demons among his popular books). But I really love how Dan plays with the readers’ mind. The plot is good, the characters are well molded to fit the plot. Ahhh I just can’t stop admiring his works. I specially love how good he writes that he can lead the readers to think in advance what would happen, but ends up on an entirely different twist. I won’t be talking so much about the book, as that will spoil to those anyone who haven’t read it yet. But yeah, it was one of the books that I ❤
