review 1: synopsis:faith and tony have been married for 25 years, and faith feels as though there is nothing that tony can do to surprise her, and that they are comfortable together. on a trip back to their hometown, tony plans a surprise, revisiting the important places and times in their lives over a weekend. he writes letters for faith to read as well.what i liked: that tony and faith weren't ever really in trouble; that their marriage wasn't in crisis. i liked the fact that faith could still be surprised by tony, and that they still loved each other and didn't really take each other for granted. i also liked how tony planned everything. the story didn't feel as though it would benefit from being any longer; it felt complete.what i didn't like: that tony was able to keep such ext... moreensive planning secret from faith.
