review 1: I'm a sucker for a good romance and all of The Compass Brothers deliver. Western Ties really tugged at my heart strings because of the way JD's illness and death were written, that was the exact way my own father passed. So as I was reading about a blossoming relationship with Sawyer and Leah and laughing at their antics, tears were streaming down my cheeks remembering my own Dad. I love books that I can relate to, that provoke thought and remind me of the good things that were and are a part of my life.
review 2: I liked how the book started out. I liked Sawyer and Leah together. I like how Sawyer handled Leah's introduction to BSDM. The book started to go downhill a bit once they got back to Wyoming and had to deal with JD's illness and all the pseudo fami... morely drama. Still don't understand why Sawyer was kept in the dark. I haven't read any of the previous books but I am intrigued by the threesome couple in book one so I'll check that book out. less
