review 1: Chased (How Not To Be Seduced by Billionaires)I loved this book. It is the beginning of a 3 part series which I am not usually a fan of, however this series was amazing. Author Marian Tee has become one of my all-time favorite authors partially due this series. The sexual heat between Constantijin and Yanna is amazing. You can feel the tension between the main characters right from the beginning and it does not stop even at the end of the first book. I found myself laughing characters in the book and also crying. It was a great read as well as the rest of the series.Since I am a reader I can honestly say that I love this book, in fact the whole series. I always look forward to books by author Marian Tee since her books take me out of my everyday life and allow me t... moreo live the life of my fantasies.
review 2: Marian Tee is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I read book two of this series by accident first but went back and read this one (the first) right afterwards. Just like her other books, Marian keeps you on your toes with the sizzling back and forth between the main characters, the funny quirks and quips and the heart wrenching relationship issues that tend to arise. This series is definitely one for the bookshelf, a keeper for sure.Yanna is a twenty-something year old virgin on her first big interview in the corporate world after working for her father’s company. Running late and frazzled she takes a seat and mistakes the guy sitting next to her for another interviewee when he is actually the CEO of the company. The first words out of her mouth after getting a look at him are priceless and instantly pique his interest. Soon after comes the cat and mouse chase. He’s bound and determined to rock her world and Yanna is the kind of girl with old fashion values of love and wooing. They constantly butt heads while doing everything *but* the actual deed. Mister Billionaire playboy doesn’t believe in love and isn’t the kind to woo a woman which leads to some unique problems in their relationship. Without giving too much away I will say that it rips at your heartstrings while making you want to beat two very stubborn people’s heads together. But all of the used tissues and empty chocolate wrappers will be worth it. Yanna and Constantijin’s story should not be missed.It is available in ebook and paperback form so go out and get yours. Be prepared to laugh out loud, cry, and cheer. This book has it all and I absolutely recommend it. less
