review 1: Review: I was given a copy of the Art of Trusting a Greek Billionaire by Sunshine and Mountains blog for an honest review. I enjoyed the first book and hated being left on a cliffhanger. But I really enjoyed going from book 1 to book 2. Damen thinks that Mairi is a gold digger but she is far from it. She just knew what she wanted in a man. This isn’t your normal romance. It is a good story and I think it is worth the read. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
review 2: Book Two of Mairi and Damen's story is the Art of Trusting a Greek Billionaire and let me tell you, that title is absolutely perfect for it. While the first book did a good job introducing the characters and setting you up, this one had your heart breaking with Mairi and threatening to beat the crap ou... moret of Damen for being such a stubborn oblivious male. Mairi isn't ready to give up on her dreams of happily ever after with Damen even after finding out about his fiancé. She is bound and determined to make him realize he loves her, even at the risk of her own heart. Honestly, Mairi is so much more brave than I think I could be in her place. She agrees to an "open dating" relationship with Damen, positive that with time he'll realize his true feelings but she doesn't want anyone else but him. And unfortunately she's put in the position to see him and his fiancé together, hear about them often and every single time her heart breaks just a little more. Even her friends are worried that she's losing her rose colored glasses which are such an integral part of herself. But with Damen taking his sweet time he's leaving the way open for others to swoop in and steal Mairi, and trust me, there's not one but two other billionaires that have their sights set on her. Lucky girl! Book two doesn't end in a cliff hanger (thank god!) but in a rather nice place that leaves it open for Marian's other books in the series which I'm looking forward to. Book Three should be next month so I will be keeping an eye open for that. less
