review 1: This book was really good and sweet and full of action. Lily is a psychic looking for some revenge after a supernatural being killed her best friend, Terry. Terry sticks around in ghost form as she believes its her job to help Lily find a life beyond vigilante justice and wants her to be happy.The night Lily tracks down the beast she is almost killed by it and is saved by Sean. He takes her to a secure facility he owns to heal her. On waking Lily discovers there is a lot more going on in the world of Were-animals than she realised, and Sean is one of monsters she has been hunting. Lily's blood holds the key to curing the Were-animals of a virus that has been sending them on murderous rampages.The romance between Sean and Lily is sweet and steamy! I struggled a bit to conne... morect with the other characters, except for Jack and my only problem with the story was that ending! Very abrupt but certainly makes you want to pick up the next book in the series.
review 2: Absolutely love this book. I just purchased the next one in the series and can't wait to read it. I rarely buy books. I read mostly whatever our local library has on the shelves but every once in awhile I come across an author that I don't mind spending the money. Marianne Morea is one of those authors. This book has love, loss, weres, passionate love scenes, interference from a member of the pack and you just know he is up to something nasty. Lily is the kick butt heroine who is out for revenge after her best friend is killed, who then falls for Sean who is a take charge guy with secrets of his own. I loved all the characters and the whole story. I laughed in some parts and almost cried in others. This is definitely a must read!! less
