review 1: I loved every book in this series. I was enthralled by how Marie Hall took all of her stories and incorporated something of real life in each. However, when Jinni has to convince Paz of their being soul mates, I found I couldn't be sold on the love that existed between the two of them. I couldn't seem to get past the imagery of the stars and light of the universe melding into the power which made up Jinni and the love which he shared with Paz. On another note, I do understand that Paz is an artist. I realize that she was using Paz's talents to 'paint' his past so Jinni could come to terms with the horrible things he did. However, I just didn't feel the depth of Paz's love. Paz spent so much time coming to terms with her death and helping Jinni break through his lack of wor... moreth that I couldn't be sold on her being madly in love with Jinni. I will continue to read her books in this series because I thoroughly enjoy the books she writes.
review 2: Marie Hall brings us the 4th book of the Kingdom series, this book seems to be more character-driven then all the others. Paz is a talented artist and she dreams of finding her true love.Jinni is becoming more ghost everyday and has given up on love all together. This story will takes us through the Cosmos with Paz and Jenni as he uses the last of his life force to show how much he loves her. It will take a bit of Jinni's fairy godmothers interference to convince Jinni to fight for Paz.I am finally glad to get to read Jinni's story and understand just from the small parts he showed up in, in the other books why he is the way he is. Marie Hall took Jinni's story and made it impossible to put down. less
