review 1: This was a free Friday book for the Nook that I almost past up on since it was labeled as a romance novel. I'm glad I read the reviews. It is also a re-telling of Beauty and the Beast and it is also considered historical fiction. I like Beauty and the Beast and I like re-writes of fairy tales. I also like historical fiction. So I knew this book was for me. I really enjoyed it. It is well written and has a little bit of a fairy tale and magical quality. The title of the second book in the series Snow White and the Vampire intrigues so I would like to read it as well. review 2: This was such a well written book about a nobleman who found out he was born a bastard and cursed since the day of his father's death. However, in marrying Isabella, he rediscovers himsel... moref and how to love unconditionally; therefore, he breaks the curse he has suffered with for most of his life. I enjoyed all the suspense and mystery this book offered, not to mention, the added bonus of the budding romance/love. :) less
