review 1: It is refreshing when you read a story that is being told by the male POV.Ryan Pierce hasn't had a good life, with an alcoholic mother and his addict twin brother his life has been rough. We learn how he was able to make it thru whle being away from Alana, and how he became Jack the Stripper. You will feel the same emotions Ryan is feeling thruout this ordeal. And just imagining Ryan/Jack will make you blush!!!!This is a lovely story and I will recommend the book. We advice for you to read Strip Me Bare.
review 2: * ARC provided by the author for an honest review *Marissa Carmel has knocked it out of the park with her second book Stripped From You. This book was out of this world amazing! For all you ‘Jack the Stripper’ fans out there this story is about how
... moreMr. Ryan Pierce becomes the man you meet in Strip Me Bare.A little back story for those who need it. In the first book it opens in Alana’s point of view and she is on her way to a male revue where she runs into a man that she once loved and hasn’t seen in years.Cue every women’s nightmare. But what amazed me in that book was how sort of ok she was and the constant question of “Why?” keep repeating in my head. Even with all her reasoning I still couldn’t wrap my head around it.THIS IS WHY! THIS IS THE STORY WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!Marissa takes us back to all those years ago that we so desperately crave. Giving us a beautiful, angst filled story of how truly in love these two were and exactly what happened to tear them apart. This prequel is told from Ryan’s point of view and takes you through exactly what he went through with their relationship, the aftermath, his home life, and right up until that opening night in book one. I was both giddy and sad at times with the knowledge that I already knew how Ryan’s and Alana’s future plays out but I was also so infatuated with Ryan’s past and everything it takes him to get to where he is. The things he goes through for Sean made my chest ache for him. It was one thing to be told about in it book one but letting us experience it with him made it even better. I loved reading his inner monologue because everything he thinks I was thinking right along with him. My Favorite Line:“My roommate is the serial killer of the adult entertainment world. Slaying panties one striptease at a time.” Marissa I am in love of this book. I didn’t think I could want Ryan any more than I already did but bravo you did it! I can’t wait for the next book! less
