review 1: I liked it. The concept was fairly original. The characters likable. There were a lot of things to like about this book. Some issues I personally had- Some spoilers ahead- Sometimes the story didn't flow. I am not a fan of skipping months and years within a chapter. I also didn't always find Ryan's excuse believable. Well I guess I should say I believed him but it was just so ridiculous. I mean if you love someone as much as he claimed to love her you would not give up that easily on the relationship and then turn around and become a stripper and bang a bunch of other women. There was also a lot of filler in this book. I found myself quite often skimming to get back to the point. My attention span is not great and all the repetitive inner monologue and meaningless dialogue... more that led to nowhere bored me. Having said all of that ^^^ I still liked this book.
review 2: Absolutely loved Strip Me Bare by Marissa Carmel. The storyline was solid and well thoughtout. The characters were amazing with tons of chemistry in and out of the bedroom. I'm a sucker for second chance romances and this one had everything that I love when reading one. Also when a book doesn't have a cliffhanger it doesn't get much better than that. Looking forward to more books by Marissa Carmel. less
