review 1: I'm not a big fan of realistic fiction but my mom was convinced I'd love this book since it was set in our neighborhood. I found it to be a little boring and tedious and not much of a page-turner at all. I recommend this to anyone who's looking for a calm slow read but if you want to get hooked on a book this isn't what you're looking for. I think it's also very mature and more of an adult book than a young adult book.
review 2: While the idea of this book and its characters are a good idea, the execution was all wrong. The voices and dialog was cliched beyond belief and not at all believable. I really liked the concept of a West Village fairy tale (and it is, since most of the scenarios are not very believable), but was constantly irritated by how fake the cha
