review 1: This is the first in a series and does end in a cliffhanger. It was a fantastic book and I will be picking up the rest of the series. The author did an incredible job sprinkling in details about the other world in a way that enhanced the story without getting bogged down. The characters jumped off the pages and I genuinely cared about them and their journey. The lodestone based technology was creative and explained in a very believable way. I would highly recommend this series to any sci-fi lover.

The creatures and monsters were fantastic! Follow the adventures of a small clan of people who find out... more that their Prophet is not who he seems, that he is bent on destroying their civilization, and it it up to them to stop him. I've already added book two to my TBR list. I very much look forward to reading it! less
