review 1: The narrative surprised me because it felt more real and mature than others I've read so far. The female protagonist Annabelle is also a sweet, well-rounded girl. I liked when she and Martin (Josh) met. It was really cute. It felt somewhat like insta-love but I guess it was an okay "first meet" between protagonists. The end was a bit anti-climatic and not where I expected it to go. Overall, an okay girlie read :)
review 2: I got this book from a family member and was interested to see what it is about. When I first started reading it, the book was interesting and unique. This is the first book that I have come across were the dream world is a different dimension. There are tons of books that have different worlds that are fairy tales or universes, but this is t
... morehe first time that a book has had a dream world as the other world. This book is about Annabelle, she lives in a small town in Virginia and cannot wait to get out. For Annabelle everything is slow and boring and she wonders why anybody would want to come there. When the boy from her dreams shows up she is thrilled. But soon she starts to have to worry about other things. If her dream boy can come to life, then can her nightmares also come to life? As a whole, the story was good and the ending was very suspense but predictable. There were times when things did not exactly add up perfectly, but overall the book was good and I enjoyed reading it. Even though there was a bit of a love triangle, it was not frustrating how they usually are. less
