review 1: A sweet novel, but a little too long. Ms. Whalen takes her sweet time to get to the heart of the story. And the storyline flows well when Macy, Max, Emma, and Macy's mother get there. I loved figuring out who was the mystery artist that Macy had been communicating with. A deep bond formed between the two, and I was wrong in whom I thought was her artist, but I really liked who it turned out to be.
review 2: Wow! What a great story. A drawing in the guest book left at the beach house on summer vacation. and each year it is answered with another drawing. This goes on for years and then after a 10 year absence Macy Dillon goes back to find her mystery friend. And what a memory she finds. Meets 3 wonderful men; could one be "the Artist". What a great, heart warming... more story. I just love little Emma too! Highly recommend. less
