review 1: Ok wow this trilogy had me all over the place. Although I've heard some people say they didn't like the repetitive. I don't think it was at all. Yes Gabe,Jace and Ash had similar storyline in essence as in how they like domination of their women, but Ash had the most dramatic life". All is all all of them were your typical brooding, sexy, rich, alpa-males but all had hearts of gold. Sticking by each other like family does.
review 2: I have thus far only read, Rush, the first installment. While I enjoyed it for what it is, if you are drawn to this series because of its similarities to FSoG, you will likely be let down. The shallowness of the character development will leave you wanting if you're coming off the depth of Christian and Ana. I for one, liked Gabe, ... morebut could have done without the spinelessness of Mia. I wanted to get to know these characters better, and wished their romance could have blossomed more slowly, the inevitable hostile outburst could have been more believeable, and the apology and love-soaked reunion slower and more genuine. But shoving all of the drama of Gabe and Mia's romance, his troubled past, their relationship with Mia's brother etc into 400 pages did not leave Maya Banks much time to develop the people. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a quick, alpha male romance, Rush won't disappoint. less
