review 1: Sanırım en hızlı okuduğum kitaplardan biri oldu Talih Kuşu. Sevdim mi sevemedim mi karar veremedim.Yorumlarından az çok çabuk sonuçlanan bir kitap olduğunu biliyordum ama ne yalan söyleyeyim bu kadarını da beklemiyordum. Başladığında iyiydi ama sonra 50-100 atlamaya başladı bölümler ve ne olduğunu anlayamadan sonu geldi bile.Daha önce Kokoloji'leri çözdüğümden öyle bir kitap bekliyordum. 200 sayfa bile olmayan kitapları okumak daha uzun sürmüştü şaka gibi. Bir de sonuç olarak tatlıya bağlanmadı onu da sevemedim. Özellikle bir yerde geri dönüp seçenek değiştirdim ama yok sonunda geberip gidiyorum. Gerçi ikinci de biraz daha uzun yaşadım ama Genelev Patroniçesi nasıl oldum o kısım muamma. Farklı yollar olduğundan kitap o... moreldukça kalın. 600 sayfa çevirisi vs çok zordur eminim. Ama gerek var mıdır ondan emin değilim gerçekten. Belki arada can sıkıntısına farklı yollara bakılabilir ya da arkadaşlar arasında eğlencesine bir şeyler yapılabilir ama onun dışında çok mühim görmüyorum kitabı. Tabi ki bu almam tukaka demek değil. Kendince eğlenceli bir kitap ama diğer kitaplarını merakla bekleyeceğim bir kitap değil.Ve evet, evet farkındayım 2'den dalmışım olaya :D
review 2: I like the concept of this book. I even like the premise: you will 22 million in the lottery, now what? The problem is that no matter what path one chooses, something bad is surely to happen. I know there must be choices because what's a choose-your-adventure book without that? The issue I had was that no matter what option I chose, time after time, it all led to bad times and ultimate unhappiness. In fact, I got so tired of nothing ever really going right that I didn't bother to "have" all the adventures that this book offers. After a while, I just figured why bother, nothing good is going to happen or if it does, it won't last. Knowing that at every turn I had nothing positive to look forward to was depressing. Life is depressing enough without a book bringing me down. At the end of the day, if I had to choose all over again (like is possible in this book), I'd choose to leave this one of the shelf, unopened and un-purchased. less
