review 1: I got this book as a freebie on the Kindle. I loved this book as much as the first two and when I finished I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't a fourth book! I saw that there may be one in the works and I sincerely hope this is true. I work at and am a member of a small baptist church and saw so many things I could relate to our church in his story. He is a wonderful author and I felt like I was right there in the story. Even though it is fiction I learned some things that I can put to use in my work and in our ministry. I even strongly recommended it to our pastor and his wife. Good job Mr. Moody!
review 2: Elmo entertains us yet again in this third installment of his employment at First Church. I sometimes wonder if this is what really goes on in
... morethe mega churches. I have a feeling it is. In this book, Elmo is mentored by an older gentleman who meets him in a local coffee shop. This gentleman teaches Elmo to slow down and drink tea with some Bible truths thrown in for good measure. After you've read all three books, you feel as if you've been a member at First Church all of your life. It's good, clean fun and a relaxing read. less
