review 1: Not as good as Wednesday Sisters (imho). Mostly because it was more confusing to read. The diary entries were hard to read and honestly, I thought the conversations with Bea were a little weird. I usually like multiple timelines and multiple points of view, but the first-person Hope, diary Ally, and third-person everybody else didn't work for me in this one. I feel like the author could not make up her mind about where she wanted the characters to go in this book.

... mored. It takes place in England & is all about Beatrix Potter, both which I love, but the story just doesn't flow. The last quarter of the book started to draw me in and there is a feel good ending- similar to the way I felt at the end of the first book, but I'm not sure I'd say overall its a "must read." less

Boring, disjointed. Not one character I could care about in the whole book. Tedious reading at best.
