review 1: Meghan March tells a beautiful tale of a young woman running from her past and hiding from having a future... She has new purpose in life, staying away from the spotlight and anything related to her past, and trying to build a future much different from what she envisioned. She's changed everything about herself. Reinvented her look, her attitude and her ... moreoutlook on life. Charlie is hurting you can see it in everything she does, she pushes away anything that has a potential to be good in her life feeling like she doesn't deserve it. When Charlie meets Simon shes forced to deal with the past, present and the future.I absolutely LOVED this book.. Hands down one of the best reads from a new author I've read this year. I was gripped from the beginning of the story right up until the end. It will keep you guessing and on your toes, as each chapter seems to bring more drama and intrigue to the story line. Charlie is one strong heroine, even though she doesn't appear to be in the beginning, in the end she shows the bravery of a thousand soldiers marching into battle. I give this one my full 5 stars! I loved it beginning to end and I highly recommend it.
review 2: 2☆☆ for the story 3 1/2 ☆☆ for the writinghere's whythe writing was really great. the characters were all really likeable and interesting. my issue is why and what and how the hell did Charlie and Simon end up falling for each other?? was my book missing pages?? did I skip pages?? what the hell happened?? I felt more in Charlie and Cons relationship then her relationship with Simon. I don't get it at all. less
