review 1: It was pretty good until it literally ended in a cliffhanger..an unfinished sentence! You also have to not be picky about accuracy/realism in this one. Any nurse who behaved with a patient this way will be fired and possibly loose her license. If you suspend realism, this is a really sweet story and the characters do not waver and play games with each other so that is refreshing.Best quote:I promise to be faithful in every way to you and only you. You are my one love Amanda, you are my Angel. You may think I’m crazy, but I knew from the moment I saw you, that you were made for me. I promise to love you every single day for the rest of my life. I can’t imagine any woman that would make me happier than you have. I promise to respect you as a person, because you are an ... moreamazing woman who has created a wonderful life for herself. I promise to see you as an equal partner every day of our marriage, because you deserve nothing less. All you have to do is say yes”.
review 2: A short, romantic novella about two people, hurt by life, meeting (in a hospital, she's a nurse and he's a cop shot in the line of duty) and having their previously negative thoughts about relationships and love turned on their ear. It was cute, quick and satisfying. Even for me, however, it was a little on the insta-love side. I know, it was a Valentine's Day take off and I suppose cupid shot each of them in the heart, but my gosh, kissing just after he wakes from a coma? But, I enjoyed it anyway (and bought another, longer book by this same author). less
