review 1: Stalker. Serial Killer This book is a trip.I've never read a bad book by Melissa Marr. Which is hard since I've heard she's not so..........nice.But she proves herself, yet again with a stalker/serial killer loose on a southern town in Made For You.This book is absolutely riveting!Town gossip, proper social orderer, and youth plays a big role throughout the book. Leaving you guessing which lifetime friend is playing a sick game. This is just......wow.
review 2: Novel was ok. I like the fact it was suspenseful and Melissa Marr made you wonder who the killer Judge was. Story was a little mellow, not as thrilling as I liked it to be. I was hooked for 25% percent of the book but by 50% of the book you sort of know who the killer is and it wasn't as exciting t... moreo read. I like that there were different POVs and there was a bit supernatural element where main character Eva Tilling can see what how people die through skin contact. Eva is not the typical rich girl with airs but one that cares about her friends whether their social status is high or low. Eva ends up hit by a car one night and ends up in the hospital with broken leg, ribs, and scars on her face but that's not all. This was not an accident. There is a serial killer out there and several girl's bodies have turned up and the killer said it was for Eva. While Eva was in the hospital she reconnected with her childhood friend and crush, Nate. Romance between Eva and Nate was just alright. I felt like the author definitely need to build their relationship up more or reinforce it because it seemed kind of one sided as Eva has a huge crush on Nate. Author just sort of through Nate together with Eva. Nate becomes Eva's caretaker/bodyguard. Nate kisses and hugs Eva. Ok bam they are a couple. Judge was a creepy character and his thoughts about Eva definitely points to psychologically problems that need to be treated. less
