review 1: It was a cute read, unbelievable in my opinion but still cute..We start with Roxy who has been mentally and physically abused by her mother, and now is in her sophmore year of college with 0 friends. Then we have the hot wide receiver some hot shot from Heart Alabama who grew up in a trailer however loves his family to pieces..so the two cross paths..5 days later they are on the I love you page..What I can't understand is, is how Roxy went from 0 social life, 0 friends to falling in love in 5 days?
review 2: I would not have been able to give this 3-stars had this not been a very enjoyable story. I really, really like Aiden and his friend Gary and his family were wonderful side characters. Roxy seemed adorable and Roxy's adoptive parents were great, too. What I
... morehad an issue with was the writing and some of the plot lines. The insta-love that I usually dont mind too much was super quick in this book, too quick for my tastes and I dont think I am as annoyed by it as other people I have seen review books. I think by page 26 Aiden was saying he was in love with Roxy. It also seemed like the get to know you part of the relationship was skimmed over, very superficial at first. The last 1/2 of the book more than made up for it.There were other grammatical issues I saw, like starting a paragraph or sentence with a number. I am grammatically challenged and know that is a no-no. I do believe there were several misused words or tenses of words that gave me pause. The biggest issue I had, and have been having with the books with broken girls who are virgins is how they become these little vixens so quickly. Roxy is a prime example of this. She was badly abused and really had little interaction with people until she was 16, but all of a sudden at 19, she is begging Aiden to 'take her' and other such things. I mean I get liking sex and being hot for your 1st boyfriend, but not when you are coming from an abusive past and are socially inept even if therapy is involved. Otherwise, I read this quickly and was entertained and enjoyed! less

I finally gave up. 2-D characters, unrealistic plot, and their romance was emotionally lacking.
