review 1: Completely and utterly hooked...When you come from a home where love is non existent and the only protection you have from hurting is self preservation, then the life Blaire has chosen is kind of understandable. She sees men as a source to survive and to keep her in the luxury she is accustomed to.However...love finds a way!! review 2: 4 starsI became a fan of Mia Asher’s after Arsen. So when her latest book was coming out, I could not wait for the chance to read it. And oh what a twisted tail she weaves in this story. The characters are suppose to be unlikeable but you can not help but fall for them a little. And just that little bit will break your heart. Meet the gold digging Blaire. And that is exactly what she is. She is able to use her beautiful looks to get men that are above her to support her. Why because she has no heart according to her. She learned at a young age that love is a waste of time and will do nothing but make you weak. After living in a loveless for years growing up, she vowed to never love. But sometimes an ice covered heart will thaw.Ronan. Ronan. Ronan. He was captivated with Blaire from the first time he saw her. He was just a normal guy. Yes he was handsome but did he have the power and money that attracted Blaire to guys, absolutely not. However he was able to worm his way into her mind and maybe her heart; what little there is of it. Ronan was everything that you would want in a man.As Ronan and Blaire form a sort of friendship, things start to heat up for them. As Blaire gives herself to him, she knows how to give her body freely, she starts to feel something. It can not be love? No. Blaire is unable to love. She must stop this before Ronan destroys her. She is bad. She does not need love according to Blaire. But Ronan refuses to let her go that easily.But in the back of Blaire’s mind, there is Lawrence. He is so much more than all the other men that have paid to be with her. She is a gold digger at heart so she does the one thing that will break her free of Ronan; Lawrence. He is everything that Blaire wants in a man. Well one that can afford to support the lifestyle that she has been living. Lawrence. He had me every intrigued. He has power, money, lord does he have money, handsome yet he is alone? Why is this? He has secrets that I hope will be revealed in the next book. As this tangle web of emotions crossing into each of their lives, will Blaire be able to survive with her ice covered heart?
