review 1: This was the first book I've ever read online. The writing is very young adult, and if that's the genre it belongs in then bravo to the author. It had a nice chill to it, and I like the sacrifice the main character is willing to make despite the conflicts he is facing. I also enjoyed the creepiness factor of the villain in this story as well. I'll admit, I would have loved even more detail about Evan's ability, but perhaps it's more explained in the next book.
review 2: Every bit of the premise of the story is believable to me. I've had head trauma before and for some time after there were very strange things going on around me. So to start the story with a boy who is knocked on the head when he falls off his bike and then begins having strange dreams - is cert
... moreainly plausible. What happens with the psychologist unfolds within the story in such a way as to be natural. The only part that was off was the situation with the other patient, and the idea of the government being behind it. Ummm, the government doesn't have to be behind all the weird stuff. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it. less
