review 1: Acutually a good book for a history book. You get a lot of dirt on the Royality! Which was pretty hilarious. They book was well-written. The middle of the book got dry for me, and since many of the Royals have similar names, sometimes I had to go back and look to remind myself with King/Queen they were talking about; a little confusing at times. This is not the authors fault, he only had so much to work with! Also, I hate footnotes. So, three stars it is.
review 2: An enjoyable audio, but not full of the sex stories you might think. :)This is full of stories not often heard in average history books. America while full of lies and sex can't really compare to 500 of the Brits. It gives me hope for our country. The reader is spot on and while this has to be... more one of the longest readings of a 300 page book at just over 9.5 hours. It was still a great listen and I might even consider buying the book to reread. less
