review 1: So depressing. The writing is great, the research spot-on, and the analysis interesting, but the subject matter was just utterly depressing. It's not an Obama-bashing book exactly, so don't be put off by the title. Michelle Malkin uses the current presidency's cabinet as examples of the "pay to play" politics that consume Washington. It's so depressing to realize how blatant and dishonest and greedy these people are, based on the lengthy list of scandals Malkin discovered for each person in the book. It's disheartening and it makes me want to just hug my daughter and maybe not think about it for a while.
