review 1: Elliot is different and makes a friend with a mouse as they both struggle with being short and living in New York City. Gorgeous illustrations of the city set back in time. The Flatiron building is on one page and the kids kept asking me about its unique shape. The love the page where the mouse is waving the dollar bill like a surrender flag at the cash register while buying a cupcake. KA - grade 2.
