review 1: Matagal ko ng nakikita sa mga 7-11 at cashier sa NBS 'tong mga book ni Ms.Mina pero as I've said, hindi talaga ako mahilig sa chiclit/romcom genre kaya kahit synopsis man lang eh hindi ko binabasa. Basta 'pag parang *girly* yung dating para sa'kin, hindi ko na kinikilala pa. Ahahaha.Tapos nung nakaraang MIBF, nakita ko si Miss Mina sa booth ng Summit. Ang ganda niya. Ahahaha. Unrelated talaga pero dahil sa ganda niya parang gusto ko tuloy magpa-autograph sa kanya. So bumili ako ng book niya.Ito yung pinili ko kase merong reader's choice award something na badge. Eh ang goal ko nung MIBF eh bumili ng mga book na may award sa kahit anong larangan, local or international so pasok siya sa banga ko.Yung dedication sa'kin ni Ms. Mina, "Lucas is Love." Ang reaksyon ko naman, "Luh... more. Sino si Lucas?" Hahaha. I know ang shunga ng mga reaction ko. Syempre naisip kong yung character yun 'di ba sa story. Like duh. HAHAHA.Anyways, binasa ko ka'gad ito pag-uwi ko and HINDI NA AKO NITO PINATULOG OKAY. Ang hirap ihinto at bitiwan, shemay! HAHAHA.So totoo nga, Lucas is Love. I love him na huhu. Alabyoo Lucas! Wahaha :D
review 2: I have yet to continue reading this, but I instantly fell in love with the way Miss Mina wrote her prose. It was really organized. I read this first at Wattpad. I will update my review after finishing this, but it seems like a good story.If it is Miss Mina Esguerra writing a tale, expect it to be a masterpiece.**update:I know this is sold as digital copy, but Miss Mina uploaded a free version on Wattpad, but it is still not completed. I love the story, tbh. Miss Mina shows us that good guys and bad guys exist, both internally and externally, and that you really cannot judge a book by its cover. Because some instances of the story points to real-life situations, I can say that we can learn from those people too. I am one of those people who underwent heartaches and who cling into the love template and Prince Charming archetype, without knowing that "that" careless Rock Star is someone who actually has a true and understanding heart. less
