review 1: I already read this last year, but I had to re-read it (fast) after reading the Gifted Little Creatures short story. This is the third installment of the Interim Goddess of Love trilogy where college student Hannah Maquiling faces a tough decision that will affect her fate. Will she continue her task as the interim goddess of love? Will she pine forever for the guy she loves? Will she take the risk of finding another love? Those will be answered in this book. The ending is bittersweet, and I loved how Mina tied things up with some of the major characters. A lot of feels! Team Quin all the way! :)
review 2: After much anticipation and searching endlessly for an epub copy, my friend and I finally got hold of this via Smashwords.I lost an hour of my Friday night, ... moreconsuming the whole thing and now I'm quite indecisive (pardon the pun, I couldn't resist it) as to how to rate it. My feelings for this book is going back and forth between steady versus disappointed. I've always liked Mina Esguerra's novels though, and I can't bear to dislike one of hers, especially IGoL's finale. So I'll just go and revisit for another pass and then do the rating sometime later when I've digested the trilogy's closure. less
