review 1: I thoroughly enjoyed this light romance. This is a story of two childhood sweetheart who were separated by circumstances and then came together accidentally when they met on a cruise ship. Of course there is no such thing as coincidences so then meeting between Kate and the now wealthy Reed was actually engineered. This is a story of misunderstanding, jealousy, star-crossed lovers, and a little bit of mystery. But sometimes a little romance is just what you need.
review 2: Homesong weaves together the stories of three generations of two families in a small town in rural Virginia. The focus is on the relationship between Kate and Reed, now and in their childhood and teen years, but their history is strongly affected by the relationships of their parents and g... morerandparents. Each generation has made its own mistakes and has its own secrets, and those mistakes and secrets have affected both families in one way or another.Misha Crews has a way of writing that draws the reader into the lives of her characters.
