review 1: I'm not great at writing reviews, but I really wanted to let everyone know how much I really like this book. It is definitely something I would let my 14 yr old daughter read without any worry, yet as an adult I certainly got a lot out it also.I love to read and when I come across a book like Cornerstone it makes me love reading even more. The original story concept intrigued me, but the way the author was able to bring all her characters to life is what hooked me. I read this book in a matter of days, because I snatched my phone up every free minute I had. The relationship between Nali and her mother was refreshing to me. Even though Nali believes her mother suffers from a paper hoarding and writing compulsion she remains loyal and loving to Evangaline. Since Nali is s... moretill a teenager, of course she is embarrassed by her living situation and the way it has impacted her standing in her high school, but there is a respect that you don't find very often in YA books. I would recommend this series to adult and teens alike.
review 2: okay seriously this book was beyond awesome!!! I enjoyed every minute of it.Garret is officialy one of my new favorite book boyfriends, the chemistry between him and Nalena was enough to keep me smiling long after i finished the book. The storyline was something different that i've never read of before so it really kept me intrested.In the beginning i felt sorry for Nalena that she had a rough time in school because of her moms paper hoarding but then it all comes together and she finally understands why her mom has to keep the papers.I absolutely loved Garrets family even though they were different they were still like all other family's,I'd love to have the Reese boys as my brothers they are so awesome!This one will definetly be in favorites pile! less
