review 1: I was really excited about this booked because Travel Chick Lit is my new obsession since I live in Europe now. But the whole time I was reading this book, I couldn't help but think..."are there really idiot brainheads out there who talk and think like Evie and her roommate?" It felt like reliving Confessions of a Shopaholic at times. It was very frustrating that within the first half of the book everything is perfect from a new awesome tour guide job to meeting Rob and having this fantastic relationship. So it left you wondering what else could happen, everything was already perfect. But naturally the big twist comes in the book. But towards the middle of the book its like the author just wrote a bunch of quick blips of stuff happening in Evie's life without going into de... moretail. I felt like Rob reminded me of a "Christian Grey" in ways like he was loaded with money, a bit domineering and controlling and experimental in the bedroom. But there are things that happen in the book, that you just know would nevvver happen like shagging in the bus luggage carriage! I mean, honestly! But overall, I could not put this book down (for me mostly because of the traveling to different places for tours). I still found it addicting to finish it!
review 2: I read this book because I am going to Paris next week, I really enjoyed it and it was nice to read about Paris before I go there. Evie is starting a new career as a European travel guide and she lands a job in Paris. The first part of the book is all about her trips to Paris and her ever growing relationship with Rob. Some of the ideas are a bit crazy and you do think to yourself that wouldn't happen, but all in all I found it a pleasure to read and it really did make me laugh. I won't tell you much more about the book because I really think you should enjoy it for yourself. I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel! less

Didn't even finish reading it. Was giving it a chance but after a few chapters I just put it down.

Good enough if you buy it for 99 cents, like i did, and all you need is a mindless summer read.
