review 1: It wasn't what I expected, but that doesn't mean it was bad. It was just different. If you read 50 shades and are looking for something similar - this is not it. This is a much more, some say realistic, I say disciplined view or account of the S & M scene. Which as I understand it is very different depending on who gets you involved, who they know and what everyone's income bracket is... That being said, it was enlightening. I won't be re-reading it but if you are looking for different S&M lit, this is worth a shot.
review 2: I am not quite sure how this book got more than one or two stars. I absolutely hated it. If I have to read "lick my boot/shoe" one more time I am going to smash my kindle with a sledge hammer. I KNOW there are more creative ways to "humili... moreate" than repeatedly making your character lick a freaking shoe and using the word "c*nt" 10,000 times. I also found the horse business repulsing and desperate on the authors part. The ending was the cherry on top of the sundae made of dog $hit called a "book". I do not recommend this book to anyone unless you want to read about a girl licking shoes the whole entire time and running from real life. less
