review 1: Courtney, Beckett and Ryan are in one big love triangle. Courtney just accepted Ryan's proposal and is already showing doubts of not being ready to marry. She plainly admits it to her friends and shows no excitement for her new fiance. Courtney's life is thrown into a love tornado when she bumps into her ex, Beckett. Beckett and Courtney dated for 4 years and when he proposed she said No and their relationship fell apart from there. Courtney loved Beckett but her view on marriage was so tainted by her Mother that she didn't think it was ever an option. Now she is standing in a bar face to face with the man who owns her heart but shattered it into a million pieces and she is wearing a 4 carot engagement ring that belongs to another man. From the moment Beckett and Courtney ... moredecided to start rekindling their friendship you knew her engagement was doomed. Her friend Kate had the best way of explaining it.. everyone was waiting for the bomb to drop. Everyone knew how in love Beckett still was with Courtney even though she was engaged, he saw right through her fake yes to the engagement and fake happiness. He knew she was settling when she should be fighting for what she deserved. SPoiler***From the beginning you knew Courtney wouldn't and couldn't marry Ryan. Yeah he seemed great and he loved her but she was messed up and she would never have been happy with her life if she went through with that marriage. Courtney INFURIATED me with her back and forth with Beckett and her constant cheating on Ryan. If I was her friend I would have acted just like Summer and been pissed by the end. Beckett laid it all out on a silver platter for her! HEY here is my heart and soul please take it and she said NO AGAIN! WHY?!?!? Because she didn't want to be the one to end the engagement. Such a childish fool!Thank god Beckett was so in love with Courtney that even after all the hell and heart break he took her back! Happy ending!
review 2: He proposed, she's not ready.. she said no.. He broke her heart.She moved on after two years, they saw each other again but she's engaged with someone, him seeing her left hand with an engagement ring. She said yes, surprising herself with the 2nd person she thought she'll be happy again. But seeing HIM again, looks like feelings never fade.They took a chance, while they were in Boston together while she's engaged. They tried to keep saying they are friends but actions speaks,and feelings speaks.. it's more than friends thing they were doing...then he proposed for the 2nd time, not asking... Court said yes! then he asked with the question.. then she said YES! YES! YES! =)i really like the story, that's why i gave 5/5 rate stars.. if you are curious why the author named it Just Watch the Fireworks, you better read this =) less
