review 1: I truly enjoyed reading this but I had to stop at times to think "Is this really Caroline Bingley?" This is told from her perspective and I actually liked her. She seemed very sensitive and down-to-earth while her sister Louisa still had all the conceited, snobbish traits I expected to see in Caroline. I also could not rate this book higher because Elizabeth was consistently referred to as Eliza (even by Jane!) and I found the idea that Mr Darcy would welcome unknown friends of Lydia's completey out of character.
review 2: This delightful romantic comedy is a sequel to Pride and Prejudice that begins on the wedding day of Fitzwilliam and Elizabeth Darcy. Catherine Bingly is distraught over their union and reduced to tears in what she believes to be an unocc
... moreupied parlor, but there to witness her break down is Mr. Darcy's American cousin, Robert. The two keep running into one another during the season in London until Catherine's scheming places her in a difficult situation that only Robert Darcy can rescue her from by posing as her fiance. Robert Darcy is totally inappropriate and outside of English propriety, but how can one who is so very wrong become Mr. Right? less
