review 1: 4 stars. This book was super entertaining--no skimming for me in this one! What I loved--I thought it was a great story with very enjoyable characters. I'm a sucker for the alpha males, who might be man-ho's, but that changes when they meet the h--even though they don't know how to deal with it. The heroine was fantastic--super strong, yet vulnerable. I also love how she surprises everyone with her hidden talent. I thought this had a very, very good writing style with realistic dialogue. My cons for this book were-- there were a lot of characters introduced early, which I found kind of confusing. Also, H was referred to with 3 different names in the beginning--I didn't even know who the author was talking about until I caught on. The Time-line tends to moves quickl... morey--which I found sometimes confusing. It still would have been a 5 star book for me except it had a Cliffhanger ending. Expensive books to begin with--I wish I did not need to buy two to get the whole story!
review 2: Wow. I was up until 5 AM finishing this. I could not put it down. If Maya Banks and Cristin Harber can write evil, then Ms. Waters excels at "creepy stalker". I was so freaked out!The love story was fantastic too. I love a good he-man Alpha. Her backstory was so sad. I hope we get a little bit more of an explanation in Book 2.I'm off to read the Bridging Chapters now.I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. less
