review 1: It has been a while since I attempted to read such a poorly written book. This book tried way to hard to be anti-abortion Christian propaganda. I did know it was going to be Christian fiction as it was published by Thomas Nelson. I am a Christian, but of all the books published by Thomas Nelson that I've read over the years- this was horrible. The ghosts, the weak thin plot, the poorly fleshed out characters, I couldn't even finish it. I skimmed through the end. I cannot recommend this to anyone.
review 2: This was not what I expected when I bought the book. The story is of a family going on a vacation after the unmarried mom finds out she is pregnant. The story takes you on a journey that covers the past and present. It takes you inside the emotions of a disa... moreppointed grandmother and a daughter who feels her life is unraveling as her mother tries to make a decision on her next step. The story takes a twist that will leave you looking at life in a different way. Covering a touchy subject in a very unique way this story is one that will captivate you, carry you and leave you in tears. I highly recommend it! less
