review 1: I was looking forward to this book, I was intrigued by the idea behind it. The girl proposing and being dumped. It had a good start but I didn't feel it held throughout. The middle section of the book was too slow moving and dull. I'm all for finding yourself just as the main female character is trying to do, and I think after few failed attempts she gets on the right track. The main male character was the typical sexy, rich, important man who'd been hurt in the past but nothing to make his character stand out. I wanted the author to develop him further. This book had potential it just fell short. I'm hoping the sequel to it is better since I bought them both at the same time, though I'm worried going into it since this book already has me turned off of the main male chara... morecter in it. I'd recommend this for a quick light read but it is probably my least favorite of the KISS novels I'd read.
review 2: I read all of these a month before I wrote this review. Still, after all this time, Ive got to tell you this was my favorite of the bunch. Girl gets dumped on air. ON AIR! While fleeing in shame, mysterious man helps hide her from the prying eyes of the scandal hungry public. That man? The uhh caustic manager who is responsible at least in some small way for her now very public shame. But its okay. He has a plan. Mainly to save his ass, but you know still a plan. See, Georgia has this contract for a year, and instead of having to go through all this wedding planning without a wedding, theyre taking the money and spending it on a year of self improvement. All while the uh again Im going with caustic Zander follows her around. You know, like the blurb said. But Im leaving my recap because I like it and dont believe in the backspace key. Plus I cant really tell you more without giving away key points. I cant even tell you why it was my favorite. Aside from the fact that this book came up with a genius way to throw the two main characters into utterly implausible situations designed to test their boundaries of their relationship. Its so genius, I might hate the author a little bit that she thought of it first.4 stars.Seriously though, I want to talk about why its my favorite, so someone else read it stat. Hint: It was not the belly dancing, hot air balloons, spy school, or gardens. Though those were all just tops. less

Definitely made for the big screen. Heart warming, humourous and utterly romantic tale.
