review 1: This is a great start to a series full of suspense and adventure. I really enjoyed reading The Iron-Jawed Boy, it felt like a quick read and definitely a book that I never wanted to put down. Each individual character was so well described, I felt as if I got to know each one of them personally and was able to attach to some specific characters as well. Through the adventures and trials, I was always entertained and wanted to read more. I recommend this series to everyone of all ages. As a comparison to other series, it is between the mix of Percy Jackson and Avatar: The Last Air-bender. Hope you enjoy The Iron-Jawed Boy as much as I did, and be sure to continue the novel by reading the second in The Sky Guardian Chronicles, The Iron-Jawed Boy and the Hand of the ... moreMoon.
review 2: Okay so, I was given an ebook by the author in exchange for an honest review, so thank you for the opportunity, and sorry about the HUGE delay in the review...When I first read the synopsis, I was intrigued by the sound of it. And when I first started reading it I was hooked. I loved the characters and the way that they were all described, and I especially loved how I wasn't able to guess the twists of the plot outright, and I just had to keep reading because I HAD to know what happened next and I HAD to know how it ended and ... wow.It was well written and exciting and kept me entertained throughout. It's a great read for all, and one that I would most certainly recommend.I definitely look forward to getting my hands on the next book! less
