review 1: I loved Kelsey in the Spiral of Bliss series and was intrigued by Archer, wanting something better for him. I wanted to see him and Dean at least on better terms. By the end of the Awaken, I wasn't thinking about Archer and definitely didn't expected a spin-off that included Kelsey. What a wonderful surprise when I encounter this book. It was even better when I read it! Love these to characters and it was amazing to see how much more the was to Archer and even Professor March.
review 2: I love Archer and Kelsey. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I am a huge fan of bad boys, boys with troubled pasts and boys who are the underdog; Archer West is all of these things in an incredibly hot package. This was my first Nina Lane book (b... moreut definitely not my last) so I missed the Spiral of Bliss series but I don’t feel like it dampened my Break the Sky experience at all. I was totally rooting for Archer from the beginning. It was also great to have a smart, beautiful, successful heroine; Kelsey was easy to like. I am pretty stingy with my 5 star book reviews but Nina deserved every one of them – she blew me away (see what I did there)! less
