review 1: Wow. This was just too weird. The paranormal aspects of the story were interesting but needed more explaining. I'm not a fan of "gay-for-you" stories and the sex scenes were just too cheesy and too much like bad porn. It was too hard for me to appreciate the straight guys having gay sex and being 100% comfortable with it. I just think insta-love is kind of a cop out for a writer to resort to. Sorry. The sentence structure and the flow were good though. I've read enough book that have awful flow to not give credit where it is due.
review 2: This has such an epic feel and I was thrilled that each of the main characters had their own voice. I love being able to get inside each of their heads to better know and understand them. More often than not my heart was ... morein my throat..Lots of angst, lots of doubt and fear but beautifully balanced with lots of hope and ultimately three times the love. Speaking of love.. I would love to read more about all of these people... didn't want to see "the end". less
