review 1: The book is written from Lily's point of view. And I got immediately hooked, this quote will probably say enough."Adam Roth and I were going to be stuck with each other until death did us part, and it just might be a violent death for one of us." -LilyIt appeares that they have more going on than we would expect from the previous books. Adam is a more softer person than the dickhead I thought he was. They play cat and piuse for a while but then is Lily sick of it and asks what he wants, rather bluntly. They decide to go on a date when he finally tells her honestly that he likes her. But that doesn't mean he isn't obnoxious sometimes. "So does this mean I lake you feel something?" He asked merrily. "Yes! Enraged!" They find out that they like each other more than they origi... morenally though. And they start hanging out more and more and well, one thing leads to another and they start falling for each other. But both of the' in their own pace. "You don't battle somebody for twenty-three years and then trust them with your heart overnight." -LilyA bit further in the book there is some heated scene. Lily has to make an important and difficult decision. She needs to choose because she is endangered she has two choices. She can either leave the state and write the whole daln time, but without any contact with Adam, her family or other friends. Or she can go work and live with him, which leans she won't have any time to write. They both are unsure what she'll choose, and that leads to a kind of funny yet uncomfortable scene. She chooses him, they start feeling things for each other but they don.t admit it yet. "I know it won't be easy, but please don't give up on me." "I'm not leaving, Adam, you're stuck with me, you poor schmuck.""Lilith was Adam's first love." I guess we can expect there will be more revelations further along in this book! They go on at being two perfectly fitting lisfits. Adams falily is a bit pushy at thel being together, but it's funny as hell. Everything becomes a game to them. Even the love declaring. They figure out who 'The Fox' is, you would think this book is some stupid chicklit but it sn't there's a clue to find, people!! "I've got some news for you, lilith. If you're going to be bearing anyone's children, they'll be mine." -Adam"If I say it, will you say it too?""Yes, but I need to hear you say it first.""What are we, four? why can't we just say it at the same time?""Oh! Jesus H. Christ! Who's the one who's four? Will you just say it woman?!""Fine! I love you, you asshole!""I love you too, you nutty broad!"This is just over the top funny! And they stay themselves... "I can't believe we're fighting about motherfucking tic tacs!""Wanna have make-up sex?" And then CABOOM!!"Lilly, wil you marry me?" "Yes. I will but no more licking my Fruit wroll-Ups.""Okay, but no more glitter in my hair!" This book is just too cute, I loved it!!I gave this book 4 stars and the song I chose was 'Ho Hey' by The Lumineers! It's mentioned in the book but I thought it was fitting to kind of describe this book! "I belong with you, you belong with me, you're my sweetheartI belong with you, you belong with me, you're my sweet""Love we need it nowLet's hope for someCause oh, we're bleeding out"-The Lumineers
review 2: I have to say, this one is by far my favorite of the four Lawyers in Love books.Adam really kind of got my attention in the first two books, and the way Lily stood up to him was interesting. Instant chemistry! Throw in the fact that Lily, who actually works at the law library, writes smutty books after hours, and you get one very interested group of men (most all of the male lawyers featured in these stories). This book was truly a great read. I laughed so hard at one point (a diaper changing scene) that I nearly pissed myself. My cats (yes, yes, CATS) looked at me as if I had lost my mind. This time, it wasn’t so much courtroom antics as it was the interaction between Adam and Lily, and their responses to the situations that surrounded them. And the sex scenes, unbelievably, were hotter than in the previous two books. Of course, that might just be me because so far…Adam is my favorite. I might even have a crush on Lily, too. Smart, pretty and writes smut? Hello! The scene where the two of them realize they love each other, but can’t decide who will say it first? Romantic comedy GOLD. My only disappointment: that we didn’t get to see Lily take on Judith in the court room. You do not necessarily have to read books 1 and 2 to enjoy this story – but they are ALL great reads, so you absolutely need to read them all. But if I were to pick out the one that was my favorite – this one would be it. If I could give this TEN STARS I WOULD. less
