review 1: 3.5 starsThis is good. An incubus with a conscience... I've not read any PNs with incubuses (incubi?), so I don't really know anything about how they are 'supposed' to act, but I would guess having a conscience and feeling guilty about killing in order to survive is not really normal? But I liked how the author handled it for the most part and I would read more from her. In fact, I was hoping to see a sequel for the sister and I thought the author was setting us up for one... I hope so!
review 2: Its a hard knock life for a incubus/succubus. Asher sure was like a broken and beaten dog. You wanted to take him home, feed him, snuggle him and tell him everything will be better now. Aria was tough and looking for something she had no idea she needed to survive. ... moreShe was like that friend you loved and hated at the same time, you know because she is everything (minus the succubus part) you wish you could be. Strong, sexy, smart, full of heart and fun. I liked how these two seemed to challenge and aggravate each other. If it wasn't for the fact that we all know what they need to survive I might say there was a little too kuch. I really wish that Gypsy gets her turn for a book even if this isn't going to be a series because I really liked her as a secondary character. I mean she is the other half of Asher so it seems right especially since we know she is normal and he is not.I was given this book in exchange for an honest review in Lovers of Paranormal Goodreads group. less
