review 1: What a good book!!! I couldn't put it down! The consistency Ms. Roberts had with the portrayal of the characters, (especially with the female lead and her quirky personality), was superb! The amount of research, that must have been done is mind boggling! From start to finish I loved it! Cheers to the editor(s) as well. Many books that include this amount of detail and information can sometimes drag in certain parts but I didn't get that feeling at all! It flowed smoothly and I find myself unable to start my next book as I sit and appreciate the feeling I am left with after completing this book! If you are on the fence about reading this, wait no longer and dive it!
review 2: This was my first Nora Roberts. Overall I though it was a nice book. Although the pl... moreot has been done before - women on the run, falls for local cop - Mrs. Roberts did it well. The characters are interesting and she takes the time to flesh them out. The story moves along at a good clip and never stalls. It was hard to put down. There is a satisfying ending and I wouldn't hesitate to read another one from Mrs. Roberts. less
