All for the Game
review 1: The most action packed of the All For The Game Series and possibly the most emotionally wrenching. Sakavic knows how to write scenes that had me shaking and feeling ill and finally relieved. Now I feel lost because I don't want the story to be over after going through the trials and joys of the Foxes. It was great seeing the team come together. Give this series a try even though it's labeled M/M romance. That doesn't really come into play until this book and isn't a major theme with all that is going on.
review 2: This was a great finish to the series. I read it through with almost no breaks since I simply couldn't put it down. Like the previous two volumes, it was a complete YA/NA angst-fest, full of endlessly self-dramatizing characters and shameless teenage
... mored fantasies of evil-meanie oppression and underdog triumph, but it's so over-the-top, it somehow just works. A few things I especially loved: Exy itself, Wymack the coach, every word that comes out of Andrew's mouth, the team's dorm life, Dan the captain, and the way Neil manipulates them into being a team. It is not even vaguely realistic except as a picture of a how obsessed young people view the universe--and in that it is dead-on. Usually I can't stand that, but this has been a riveting series and I was overjoyed to see it come to such a satisfying end. less
